Qualifications and Certifications:

Brian holds 29 ICC certifications in the disciplines of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Inspections, including ICC certifications as a Certified Building Official, Master Code Professional and Fire Inspector-II.  Brian’s certificates are available for review by request. Brian is also a Registered Building Official with the State of South Carolina Building Codes Council, approved Office of School Facilities Chapter 1 Inspector, and licensed as a South Carolina General Contractor (G-99922). 

 Experience:

Brian is the CEO and Founder from inception of corporation in 2005. He served as the Building Official for the City of Gaffney, South Carolina for ten years and as a Combination Field Inspector for Spartanburg County for three and one-half years.

Brian is a member of many professional associations including the South Carolina Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and the Upper State Code Enforcement Association serving as past president in both associations.  In addition, he has served on the ICC’s Examination Development Committee and is a past chairman from 2000-2005.  A seasoned Code Enforcement Professional, Brian averages over 20 hours of continuing education per year.
